King Shade and Window was founded in 1948. Good things were happening back then. World War II had just ended. Gas cost 16 cents/gallon. Bread was 13 cents/loaf. Annual income was a whopping $2950. What’s more, it was a great time to remodel your home. And in doing so, lots of people discovered King Shade and Window for their home improvement needs.
Local residents and business owners quickly realized that King Shade and Window was a different kind of home improvement company and better than the rest. Customers were greeted by name, by the owner. They were given honest advice at very affordable prices. All deals were sealed with a handshake. Any problems were fixed immediately. Life way back then was GOOD! And part of that good life was doing business with King Shade and Window.
King Shade and Window has also changed with the times. We are now VERY DIFFERENT and MUCH BETTER than “the others.” We make sure that the buying experience at King Shade and Window is very personal and pleasant. Hardly a day goes by without a second or third generation customer walking into our store.
